We have a few program Coordinator positions open. Please help out the school by volunteering for one of the open positions. Please contact anyone on the Executive Board if you are interested in helping.



President .  The president shall preside over meetings of the organization and board, serve as the primary contact for the principal, represent the organization at meetings outside the organization, serve as an ex officio member of all committees except the nominating committee, and coordinate the work of all the officers and committees so that the purpose of the organization is served.  Recommends a chairperson for all standing committees for the upcoming year.  The recommendations shall be approved by a majority of the board.

Vice President .  The vice president(s) shall assist the president and carry out the president’s duties in his or her absence or inability to serve.  Shall be responsible for overseeing all social activities and hospitality functions at events such as Back to School Luncheon, Teacher Appreciation, First Day of School Morning Social, etc.  Is also responsible for overseeing scheduling and communication of monthly restaurant nights.  The office of vice president may be held by two (2) people.

Secretary . The secretary shall keep all records of the organization, take and record minutes including names of all those present, prepare the agenda, handle correspondence, and send notices of meetings to the membership.  The secretary also keeps an electronic copy of the minutes, bylaws, rules, membership list, and any other necessary supplies, and brings them to meetings.

Banking Treasurer . The banking treasurer shall receive all funds of the organization, keep an accurate record of receipts and expenditures, and pay out funds in accordance with the approval of the board.  Secure a second signature on all checks.

Bookkeeping Treasure r.  The bookkeeping treasurer shall maintain an accurate statement of the finances of the organization, keep members informed of expenditures as they relate to the budget and will present financial statements at every meeting and at other times of the year when requested by the board, and make a full report at the end of the year

Section 1. Membership .  The STHSA Board shall consist of the president, vice presidents(s), secretary, treasurer(s) and school principal.  The principal serves as the academic advisor on this board.  His/her position is considered a non-voting member of the board since the principal is a non-elected member of the board.
Section 2. Duties . The duties of the STHSA Board shall be to transact business between meetings in preparation for the general meeting, create standing rules and policies, create standing and temporary committees, prepare reports and recommendations to the membership.  The STHSA Board shall have the authority to make all decisions and shall be responsible for all business conducted by this organization.
Section 3. Meetings . Regular board meetings shall be held monthly, location and time to be determined by the board.  Special meetings may be called by any two board members, with 24 hours notice
